All eyes will be on the Sani Abacha Stadium in Kano on Thursday as former Super Eagles players Ahmed Musa, Shehu Abdullahi, and Brown Ideye prepare to take part in the much anticipated Titanic match between Kano Pillars and Enyimba.
Ahmed Musa, who is a member of the AFCON 2013 winning team and the talisman of Kano Pillars, is expected to lead his team in the rescheduled match, while Enyimba will see the action and fire of former national team player Brown Ideye.
Former Super Eagles star, Shehu Abdullahi is expected to make another appearance at the Pillars in what promises to be a huge battle between two of Nigeria’s most successful teams.
The Enyimba team will start to face the team again and the team is determined to return to the home victory when they came out of the CAF Confederation Cup.
The two-time African champions lost 3-1 to Zamalek in Cairo on Sunday, ending their group campaign.

Currently 7th in the NPFL table with 27 points from 17 games, the Aba club have two games in hand and are desperate to improve their standing.
Head coach Stanley Eguma emphasized the importance of the game, expressing his confidence that his team is preparing to get a good result in Kano.
“Enyimba against Kano Pillars every day is a big game,” Eguma said in an interview with Enyimba.net. “We are returning to the NPFL after doing well in the CAF Confederation Cup. I think the boys will now change their mind about NPFL. We are ready to meet, and I believe we have to do everything we can in this game to make sure we pick up the points and improve our chances in the league. “
The rivalry between the two sides has produced some memorable moments over the years.
Enyimba dominated their last meeting in April 2023 with a resounding 5-0 victory in Aba.
